Now that the weather this past weekend snuck into the lower 60’s everyone got the itch to go outside and enjoy the nice weather. Noah’s Place’s animals definitely enjoyed the nice weather also. On facebook we posed a question recently on how you stay active during the winter months.
It amazes the animals that on the coldest days the dedicated human joggers and runners are out in all weather elements. During these months of the year it does appear that everyone while exercising outside is moving at a quicker pace.
In all seasons, Noah’s Place will come to where your activity or event is. We offer Pony rides at a great rate, see our web site, and can decorate the ponies to the theme of the event (Molly loves doing Princess parties)
Molly, and our other ponies, will safely give rides as they walk around with one of our trained personnel guiding them. Did you know that when a horse walks they are going approximately 4 mph – we do not get going that fast.
When they trot = 8 mph
When they canter = 10-17 mph
When they gallop = 25-30 mph
Our animals stay active by constantly walking and running around.
